LIKE DANDELION DUST
Karen Kinsbury
One child, two sets of parents and one extremely difficult decision. One father having anger and alcoholic tendencies, the other a hard working, loving man but both wanting a son. One mother used as a punching bag and waiting for the one hit that will kill her, the other a stay home mom who had a life every woman dreams of. One child and one decision that would change the lives of five people and possibly send two to prison and lead to the death of a child. The agonizing decisions that a parent goes through to keep a child.
I recommend reading the book and not seeing the movie. The movie was a disappointment and rushed to much in the beginning and lingered to much at the end. Not enough detail in the beginning to get the full emotional feel of the characters. I understand that movies never follow the books exactly but this movie had only the main details from the book and most of the little details that meant a lot in the book were changed in the movie. Great book but a bad movie.
