Spring Break.....OVER

And it is time to get back to a normal schedule.  Getting up at 4:30 to sit with hubby before he goes to work.  There is nothing like sitting on the sofa having a cup of coffee with him in the morning just talking.  It is the only time during the day where there are no kids, no phones, no computers and noone but the two of us.  Ok so it may only be for 15 minutes but they are 15 of my better minutes of the day.  After he leaves the teen boy's alarm rings and the baby wakes up and chaos begins.  I sip the last of my luke warm coffee and put the mug in the sink then begin the cleaning process that NEVER ends.  Being a stay home mom is so much busier than working outside the home full time and being a part-time housekeeper.  A friend of mine said it is because you think you have the entire day to get things done but you just wait and by the time you decide to do something, the day is almost gone.  I love spending time with baby girl and reading when she is sleeping or updating my blog with senseless thoughts and writings.

Who invented cleaning anyway?  It isn't that I hate cleaning, it is just that I hate doing it all the time.  It is a constant maintenance thing.  There is never a moment when something doesn't need to be picked up, wiped off or swept.  The baby constantly drags things from her toy box or dirt is dragged in from the teen boys playing outside or when dragging grass into the house after mowing.  There is no pressure from hubby to keep the house clean but it makes me feel better that he comes home to a clean house.  I am thankful that he wants me to be home and that we can afford for me to stay home.  We are very blessed in every way.

Good morning! It has been awhile since I posted and because of that, I almost deleted this blog. I probably should have a long time ago but ...
